ESPN still graphics used for on-air production

role:   Motion Graphics Designer / Animator

I worked for many years for ESPN,  ESPNU, and the SEC Network. My role was to create graphics for on-air play, often with very short deadlines. I worked with talent, directors, and producers to ensure that all graphics for segments, shows, and half-time reports were ready in a timely manner. Graphics included HPGs, VPGs, lower thirds, closed captioning, interactive touch screen graphics, bugs, bumps, transitions, all keyable graphics for green screen, and other formats.

I also worked on cutting out head and actions shots, set design, props, and graphics, as well as signage for in-office and out-of-office events. These included banners, directional posters, backdrop action photos, video screens, and color correcting for different lighting scenarios.
