Business Card Design for Pat Coate   

Mrs. Coate wanted a business card design that was very basic yet also had an artistic flair. Using many proofreading symbols, I created a logo using client's initials, PLC. I used the "delete" symbol in the background to provide a fluid movement for the eyes to follow. The client was presented with the standard business card she requested, but I also provided her with a clever alternative of a business card that doubles as a bookmark (the black circle in the upper image is cut out, and a ribbon is attached to create a tie).
